NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - The Smith College soccer team posted their third shutout of the season as they defeated Eastern Connecticut, 1-0, on Rick McCarthy Field Wednesday evening.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- 13' - Seri Park's (Cresskill, N.J./Cresskill) header off a cross from Peyton McBride (Manchester, N.H./Goffstown) on the right side found the back of the net
GAME NOTES
- The Pioneers improve to 2-1 all-time against the Warriors
- ECSU held the advantage in shots (11-6) and corners (6-5)
- Sophomore Naomi Falkenberg (Sutton, Mass./Sutton) made two saves and earned the win for the Pioneers
