NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - The Smith College volleyball team held a 2-1 set lead but was unable to fend off a Trinity comeback Friday night in non-conference action. The Bantams won by set scores 25-23, 15-25, 22-25, 25-22, 15-8).

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Fiona Hegarty (Tustin, Calif./Foothill) led the way with 11 kills and hit .526 for the match followed by Olivia Smith's (Mill Valley, Calif./Tamalpais) 10 kills
• Nathalie Pak (Lexington, Mass./Lexington) set a new career-high with 42 assists
• Gabby Beckman (Aurora, Colo./Grandview) totaled 20 assists. 

UP NEXT
Smith returns to the court Saturday at 12:00 p.m. for a conference match against Clark followed by a non-conference meeting with Connecticut College.
