NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - The Smith College Department of Athletics & Recreation has announced the following updates to its spectator policy effective February 7, 2022.

Indoor Contests at Smith

• Students, faculty, and staff participating in the Smith College COVID testing program will be permitted to attend home contests 
• Students, faculty, and staff will need to display their Smith One Card in order to enter home events
• Spectators must wear a mask at all times (surgical or KN95 equivalent)
• Spectators not participating in the Smith COVID testing program are welcome to attend home athletic events with the following guidelines
  • Spectator are required to be fully vaccinated and boosted; this will be checked prior to entry to every indoor home event (Boosters are required 6 months from the date of a second Pfizer or Moderna vaccine shot or an initial Johnson & Johnson vaccine shot)
  • Spectators must wear a mask at all times (surgical or KN95 equivalent)

Outdoor Contests at Smith

• Spectators are permitted at outdoor contests and may be asked to wear a mask
• Please be prepared to provide proof of being fully vaccinated and boosted

Away Contests

• Please visit the website of the opposing institution and/or host venue for event specific spectator guidelines
