Field Hockey Suffers Setback to No. 8 Williams

NORTHAMPTON, MASS. - Emily Batchelor notched four goals to lead No. 8 Williams to a 6-0 victory over Smith College field hockey on Wednesday evening. The Ephs improve to a 3-0 record overall, while the Pioneers drop to 2-3 on the season.

  • Batchelor recorded two goals in a seven-minute span to bring the score to 6-0
  • The fourth quarter remained quiet as no goals were recorded on either side and Smith posted their two shots of the match

  • Sophomore goalkeeper Rory Harper (Wayne, Penn./Radnor) made 10 saves in the loss
  • The Pioneers attempted two shots in the circle and recorded one penalty corner
