ITHACA, NY - The Smith College swimming and diving team continued competition at the Bomber Invitational on Saturday, ranking seventh out of nine teams with 307 points.
Jessie Wang (Princeton, NJ/Princeton) scored Smith's best individual finish with a fourth place showing in the 200 fly.
Meet Highlights
- Wang clocked in a time of 2:10.42 in the A Final and came in 12th in the 100 back in 1:01.03.
- Also competing in the 100 back B Final was Abby Caputo in 16th place (1:03.03)
- Emma Schultz (Hyattsville, MD/Elizabeth Seton) posted a 14th place time of 1:11.08 in the B Final of the 100 breast
- Grace Magee (Portland, OR/Oregon Episcopal) swam to a 14th place finish in the B Final of the 400 IM in 4:53.68
- The team of Madeleine Lucas (Salem, MA/Salem), Emma Schultz (Hyattsville, MD/Elizabeth Seton), Zoe Chapin (Camas, WA/Camas), and Abby Caputo posted a time of 1:43.77 in the 200-yard freestyle relay, good for 12th place
- To close the evening the team of Caputo, Schultz, Wang, and Lucas finished ninth in the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 4:08.76

Smith will close out the three-day event on Sunday with prelim swims starting at 9:00 a.m. with finals following at 6:00 p.m.
