Smith Basketball Ranked No. 4 in D3hoops.com Preseason Top 25

NORTHAMPTON - For the fifth consecutive season, Smith College basketball has been ranked in the D3hoops.com Preseason Top 25 Poll. After a 31-3 campaign in 2024-25, the Bears slot in at No. 4 in the poll. 

Last year, Smith captured a fifth-straight NEWMAC Championship and reached the National Championship game for the second-consecutive season. The Bears will square off with one other team in the preseason top 25, a meeting with No. 11 Trinity CT on Sunday, November 30 at 4:00pm. 

The 2025-26 campaign will open on November 8 at 1:00pm as Smith will play Albertus Magnus in the 34th Annual Tyler Tip-Off Tournament, hosted by the Bears inside Ainsworth Gymnasium.
