Martin Named Preseason All-American by D3hoops.com

October 30, 2025

NORTHAMPTON - D3hoops.com voters have selected Hannah Martin (North Andover, MA/North Andover) as a third team preseason All-American, the organization announced Thursday. The D3hoops.com preseason All-America team is chosen from previous years' All-American and All-Region nominations.

Last season, Martin started all 34 games and averaged 12.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.3 rebounds per game. She was second on the team with 49 steals and shot 42.4% from the field and 34.5% from three-point range. Martin needs just 282 points to reach 1,000 in her career and enters the season ranked seventh in career 3-point field goals made (113). Smith basketball reached the National Championship game for the second-straight year and captured its fifth-consecutive NEWMAC Championship.

Martin was named to last season's NEWMAC All-Conference First Team and landed on the D3hoops.com All-Region Second Team and NEWBA All-Region Fourth Team.

Smith opens its season on November 8 when it hosts Albertus Magnus in the opener of the 34th Annual Tyler Tip-Off Tournament.
