NORTHAMPTON - Kaleigh Quinn (Bristol, RI/St. Mary Academy) scored two goals and Sky Smith (Carlisle, MA/Concord-Carlisle Regional) secured the shutout with one save as the Smith College soccer team secured a 3-0 win over Mount Holyoke College Wednesday afternoon. The Bears improve to 2-7-1 on the year and pick up their first NEWMAC win of the year to move to 1-3. The Lyons drop to 1-5-3 and 0-4-0. 

First Half Highlights
- Kaleigh Quinn (Bristol, RI/St. Mary Academy) scored for Smith in the 12th minute, assisted by Jenna Marsh (Barnstable, MA/Cape Cod Academy), giving the home team an early 1-0 lead.  
- Smith's offense pressured with multiple shots, but Mount Holyoke goalkeeper Clarissa Govea made crucial saves to keep the score close.  
- Sky Smith (Carlisle, MA/Concord-Carlisle Regional), in goal for the Bears, maintained the lead with a save against Dana Chateauneuf's attempt in the 14th minute.  
- Smith concluded the half with a 1-0 advantage, demonstrating solid defense and consistent offensive efforts.

Second Half  
- Quinn scored for the Bears in the 47th minute with an assist from Marsh, extending their lead.  
- Smith maintained pressure with multiple corner kicks and shots, including a shot by Una Keller (Davis, CA/Davis) saved by Mount Holyoke's Govea.  
- Lily Wolf (Mars, PA/Mars Area) netted Smith's third goal in the 79th minute, assisted by Dion, solidifying their advantage.  
- Govea recorded several saves, facing consistent offensive efforts from the Bears throughout the half.
