NORTHAMPTON - Smith College Athletics is proud to announce the newest members of the Smith College Athletics Hall of Fame. The 2025 class represents excellence across generations and sports, honoring student-athletes, coaches, and teams who have left a lasting impact on the Smith community.
The sixth Hall of Fame Class will be inducted on Saturday, November 8, 2025. More information will follow in the coming weeks.
2025 Inductees
Kim Bierwert - Legendary swimming and diving coach, Biewert led the program for decades, building a culture of competitive success highlighted by 92 All-American performances and four individual national championships
Bonnie Benson '00 - Softball - A standout on the softball diamond, Benson holds multiple school records and was an All-Region performer.
Ann Miller '96 - Basketball - A dominant presence on the court, Miller was a 1,000 point scorer and was named the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Player of the Year
Jean Tomlinson Holdsworth '52 - Jean was a fixture on the Class of 1952's 1st team every year she played lacrosse, basketball, and field hockey. Furthermore, she demonstrated leadership through her service as AA House Representative and as the student lacrosse manager and head of basketball.
1984 Cross Country Team - A trailblazing squad that achieved remarkable success, this team placed sixth at the NCAA Championships
Smith's Athletics Hall of Fame was established in 2012 and currently features 56 inductees.
