NORTHAMPTON - Smith College basketball invites the community to Ainsworth Gymnasium on Sunday, October 26 for a special day of basketball, learning, and connection. 

The afternoon will begin with a Free Girls Clinic from 1:00 - 3:00pm. Open to girls in kindergarten to 8th grade, the clinic will teach fundamentals, competition, and 1 on 1 coaching from our Smith Basketball players. REGISTER HERE

Immediately following the clinic, the Bears will host their Return to Ainsworth open practice from 3:00pm - 4:30pm. Fans are invited to get an inside look at the team's preparation for the upcoming season, take part in a Q&A session with the coaching staff, and meet the players during an autograph session. 

"As we head into another opportunity to chase history, we would like to start that journey by recognizing and investing in those who will be by our side along the way," said head coach Lynn Hersey. "We truly cherish our relationship with the many little athletes that follow our program and the community members we truly adore. We are so excited to welcome our new community members to Ainsworth Gym while also spending time with those who have been a staple in the stands. Our goal is to provide an interactive experience during the Return to Ainsworth event that displays our gratitude, culture and team personality."

Both events are free and open to the public.
