NORTHAMPTON - The Smith College basketball team held their spots in the D3hoops.com and WBCA National Polls. The Bears rank No. 6 in the D3hoops.com poll and the WBCA Coaches' Poll.

• Smith racked up their 20th win of the year February 7 against Clark
• Head coach Lynn Hersey has now led her squad to eight-straight 20-win seasons
• The Bears are undefeated at home (13-0)
• Smith has won 25 consecutive regular season NEWMAC games
• The Bears rank No. 1 in the region and No. 15 in NPI which are used to determine NCAA qualification
• Senior guard Selam Maher (St.Louis Park, MN/St. Louis Park) leads the NEWMAC in 3-point shooting percentage (46.9%)
• Felicia Fongemie (Ashford, CT/Marianapolis Prep) ranks third in the NEWMAC in free throw percentage (85.5%)
• Smith leads the conference in scoring (75.9ppg), defense (50.0ppg), and scoring margin (25.9)
