NORTHAMPTON - 72 Smith College student-athletes were named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Spring Academic All-Conference Team, the league office recently announced. The spring list includes participants from each of the NEWMACs member institutions who competed in rowing (23), track & field (21), lacrosse (15), softball (8), and tennis (5).
Honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2025 fall semester, achieved second-year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.
