Swimming and Diving Set to Compete at NEWMAC Championships

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Smith College swimming and diving team travels to MIT for the four-day NEWMAC Championships beginning on Feb. 18. The Pioneers look to improve upon their ninth place finish from last year's championships.

Championship Preview
The trio of CeCe Arrison, Elly Stone and Anna Partridge (Seattle, Wash./Mercer Island) all finished in the top-10 in both the 1 and 3-meter dive competition last year and will look to earn Smith valuable points in 2016.

First-year Desi Stoyanova (Plovdiv, Bulgaria/Plovdiv Language School) will aim to finish her rookie campaign strong in the 400 IM, 200 Fly and 1650 Free.

Claire Dudek (Bethesda, Md./Bethesda-Chevy Chase), Eliza Cummings (Denver, Colo./Denver Center for Int'l Studies) and Meredith Millman (Syosset, N.Y./Jerich) were a part of the 400 Free Relay team that earned a top-10 finish in 2015 and will look to improve at this weekend's champiosnhips.
