Box Score BOSTON, Mass.- Two first-half goals from Paige Haley propelled Emerson to a 4-0 victory over Smith College Saturday afternoon in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) soccer action.  

The Pioneers drop to 5-4-3 overall, 1-2-2 in conference play, while the Lyons improve to 9-2-1, 1-2-1 (NEWMAC).

Alexandra Dezenzo struck first for the Lyons at the 21:30 mark and Paige Hailey gave her team a 2-0 lead just 1:53 later. 

Hailey netted her second marker of the match with 10:33 left in the first half to give her team a comfortable 3-0 advantage going into intermission. 

Tayylor Righini put the game out of reach in the 56th minute when she connected with a Alyssa Giannone's pass. 

Jordan Isaacs (Weston, Conn./Weston) registered a team-high five shots for the Pioneers. 

Camryn Biasin (Lee, Mass./Berkshire) made four stops for Smith, while Melanie Escobar saved six in the shutout as shot were even at 14 each. 

Smith returns to their home field Thursday at 4:00 p.m. to host Keene State in non-conference action.
