SCOUTING THE BLUE
Wellesley is in the midst of a six-game losing streak, their longest of the 2016 season after dropping a pair of matches to Endicott and Wesleyan (Conn.) Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Yasmine Reece leads the NEWMAC in kills per set (4.12) and is third in total kills (280). Sophomore setter Michelle Li averages 8.15 assists per set while sophomore libero Samantha Hoang produces 4.58 digs per set. Wellesley was picked to finish fifth in the Preseason Coaches Poll.

Smith remains on the hunt for their first New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) win tonight against the Blue. The Pioneers sufered a pair of losses to Keene State and Plymouth State Saturday at the Little East/NEWMAC Challenge. First year outside hitter

Julie Voorhes (Ramona, Calif./Ramona) totaled 18.5 digs per game and sophomore setter finished with 19.5 assists per game. Freeman ranks No. 2 in the NEWMAC in service aces per set. The Pioneers were voted to finish 10th in the Preseason Coaches Poll.
