Scouting the Sharks
Simmons plays on the road for the first time this season in search of their first win of 2016. Simmons played to a 1-1 draw with Lesley this past Saturday.  Junior forward Kashka Gammon was the leading scorer for the Sharks in 2015 and received second team All-GNAC honors. The Sharks have received goals from three different student-athletes this season. Casey Halle has seen all 200 minutes in the net for the Sharks and has allowed 1.50 goals per game with a save percentage of .842.

Scouting the Pioneers
Jordan Isaacs (Weston, Conn./Weston) ranks second in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) in assists (3), while teammates Pamela Larkin (Los Gatos, Calif./Los Gatos), Kenza Mdarhri-Alaoui (Alexandria, Va./Bishop Ireton) and Emily Smith (Winchester, Mass./Winchester) are tied for second in the NEWMAC with their three goals. Smith returns eight starters from a year ago, including their top-two goal scorers. Seniors Jackie Foody (Weston, Mass./Weston) and Innis Hitt (Arlington, Va./Yorktown) were All-Conference second team selections in 2015.

The Pioneers are 4-0-1 in home openers since 2011. 

Offensive Firepower on Full Display
Smith soccer posted a school record 19 goals against Wheelock on Saturday, September 3. Kenza Mdarhri-Alaoui (Alexandria, Va./Bishop Ireton) led the Pioneers with a hat trick and an assist, while teammate Pamela Larkin (Los Gatos, Calif./Los Gatos) also recorded a hat trick in a span of just 4:05. 12 different players scored for Smith in the win. The Pioneers also set new school records with their 72 total shots, 48 shots on goals,15 corners and 11 goals in a half.
