 FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

• The Smith College soccer team plays their second consecutive home game today against the Mariners of Maine Maritime.

 

• Senior goalkeeper Shelby Hall (West Springfield, Mass./West Springfield) recorded her 10th career shutout Thursday afternoon to move to third in program history. Hall owns a 0.33 goals against average and .947 save percentage in 2017.

 

• Krissy Williames came off the bench and netted the only goal for the Pioneers in a 1-0 win over UMass Dartmouth on Thursday.

 

• The Pioneers have started four newcomers in their opening three games.

 

• The Mariners return their two leading goal scorers from 2016, Makayla Lewis and Eryn Doiron. After opening the season with a 5-0 win over Unity, MMA has dropped their last two games to Gordon and Bates.
