Bears Track & Field Releases 2025–26 Schedule

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. — Head Track & Field Coach Molly Sear has announced the Bears' 2025–26 indoor and outdoor schedule, opening the campaign at the Springfield Winter Opener on Saturday, December 6, hosting two marquee indoor meets in January and February, and returning home to launch the outdoor slate at the Carla Coffey Invitational before a full championship run through May.

Sat., Mar. 28, 2026: Carla Coffey Invitational — Outdoor Home Opener
Sat., Apr. 18, 2026: Wellesley–Smith–Mount Holyoke Tri-Meet — hosted by Wellesley
Fri.–Sat., Apr. 24–25, 2026: NEWMAC Championships at Coast Guard
May 22–25, 2026: NCAA Outdoor Championships (SPIRE Institute, Geneva, Ohio)

Indoor Season
After the Springfield opener, the Bears stack a competitive January including the Mary Grinaker Invitational at home (Jan. 31). February features elite opportunities across the region and culminates with Smith hosting the Peter de Villiers Cup on Feb. 20. The championship stretch follows with New England Division III Championships (Feb. 28–Mar. 1), a last-chance qualifier (Mar. 7), and the NCAA Indoor Championships (Mar. 13–14).

Outdoor Season
Smith opens outdoors at home with the Carla Coffey Invitational (Mar. 28) before visiting Coast Guard and Connecticut College in April. The Bears then head to Wellesley for the annual tri-meet with the Blue and Mount Holyoke (Apr. 18), followed by the NEWMAC Championships at Coast Guard (Apr. 24–25). May brings the New England Division III Championships, All-Atlantic Regionals, and the NCAA Outdoor Championships at SPIRE.
