NORTHAMPTON - The Smith College basketball team maintained its No.3  ranking in the WBCA Coaches' Poll this week as well as its No. 4 position in the D3hoops.com Top 25. In Smith's lone game last week, the Bears cruised past MIT 78-45 in a non-conference tilt. 

Season Highlights

• The Bears are 7-0 for the first time since 2019
• Felicia Fongemie (Ashford, CT/Marianapolis Prep) is averaging 15.0 points per game and ranks third in the NCAA in field goal percentage (64.41%)
• Smith leads the NEWMAC in scoring (75.7 ppg), scoring defense (48.1ppg), field goal percentage (47.1%), and three-point shooting (39.4%)
• Virginia Johnson (Minneapolis, MN/Southwest) is averaging career-highs in points (11.3), rebounds (7.0), and assists (1.7)
