INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Track and Field and Cross Country Committee has officially announced the participants for the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships, and Smith College's Distance Medley Relay (DMR) team has secured a spot among the nation's top competitors.

The DMR team consists of Pria Parker (Hingham, MA/Hingham), Shams Ferver (Barre, VT/U-32), Lena Baker (Lee's Summit, MO/Lee's Summit North) and Serena Britner (Hampton, CT/St. Bernard). This is the first time a Smith DMR Team has qualified for Nationals.

For each women's relay event contested, the top 12 declared relay teams, one per institution, were accepted into the competition. The championships will be held March 14-15 at the Golisano Training Center in Rochester, New York, with Nazareth University and Rochester NY Sports Commission serving as hosts.

Smith's DMR team enters the national stage following an exceptional season in which they posted one of the fastest times in program history. The team—composed of four standout athletes who specialize in the 1200m, 400m, 800m, and 1600m legs—has demonstrated remarkable teamwork, endurance, and tactical execution throughout the year. Smith will compete in the DMR finals on Friday at 6:30 PM, where they will go head-to-head against the best relay squads in Division III.

Their qualification marks another milestone for Smith College Track & Field, further solidifying the program's growing reputation on the national level.
