NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – Coming off a historic 2024 campaign that saw Smith College capture its first NEWMAC Championship since 2005 and advance to the NCAA Tournament, the Bears have unveiled a 30-match slate for 2025 as they look to defend their conference title. Head coach Greg Walker's squad will play 14 times at Ainsworth Gymnasium, take on a strong non-conference schedule, and face the always-competitive NEWMAC slate.

Season Opener: Friday, August 29 — neutral vs. Mount Aloysius (Montclair, N.J.), followed by an away match at Montclair State. The opening weekend continues Saturday, August 30, with a neutral vs. Trine (Wayne, N.J.) and an away tilt at William Paterson.

Home Opening Weekend – Bonnie May Invitational: September 5–6 — four matches at Ainsworth: Dean and Vassar on Friday; Saint Joseph (Conn.) and Bridgewater State on Saturday.

New England Classic in Northampton: September 12–13 — home dates with Colby, UMass Dartmouth, and Brandeis.

Ithaca Weekend: September 19–20 — neutral matches vs. Swarthmore and NYU, plus a game with the hosts Ithaca.

NEWMAC Play Begins: September 23 at Coast Guard; key home league dates include Babson (Sept. 27), Springfield (Sept. 30), Clark (Oct. 14), Emerson (Oct. 21), and Mount Holyoke (Oct. 28). Road tests include WPI (Oct. 2), Wheaton (Oct. 4), and Salve Regina (Oct. 18).

Non-Conference Road Weekend: October 24–25 at Wesleyan and Trinity (Conn.).

Final Regular-Season Home Date: November 1 — Ainsworth hosts a doubleheader vs. Worcester State and Curry.

Postseason Push: Road close at MIT (Nov. 4) and Wellesley (Nov. 8) ahead of the NEWMAC Tournament beginning November 11.
The Bears will aim to build on last year's program-best 31-win season and continue the momentum toward another title run.
