NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – The NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee announced yesterday the participants for the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships, and Smith College senior Lyda Martin (San Antonio, TX/Lee) has officially punched their ticket in the 1-mile run.

Martin enters the national meet as the No. 12 seed in a highly competitive field. Their qualifying time of 4:51.59 was enough to secure a spot among the top 20 distance runners in the country.
The senior from the Bears' powerhouse distance squad has been a model of consistency throughout the indoor season, and this selection marks a career milestone as they prepare to represent Smith on the national stage.

The championships will be held March 13-14 at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama.
