Tori Brown (New Market, Md./Linganore) hit her first two career home runs, one in each game.
Elms Overview: Winners of four straight, the Blazers are coming off a road sweep of Regis (Mass.) on Sunday. Elms is tied for third in the New England Collegiate Conference.
Smith Player to Watch: Gina Martucci (Pompton Plains, N.J./Pequannock Township) finished the doubleheader against Western New England batting 3-for-7 with a grand slam and six RBI, while striking out five in a complete game effort in the opener.
Elms Player to Watch: Sarah Buckley is hitting .371 with 14 RBI.
Did you know? Brown and Martucci each have two home runs on the season; One more for either one would be the first time a Smith player has hit more than two homers in a season since Megan Keifer cracked seven round trippers in the 2008 season.
