NORTHAMPTON - Five student-athletes from the Smith College softball team earned Academic All-District honors as announced by College Sports Communicators (CSC) last week.
The 2026 Academic All-District Softball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.
Smith College Honorees
- Bailey Gray (Missouri City, TX/Ridge Point) - Posted a 2.97 ERA with 53 strikeouts
- Lily Hackett (Concord, NH/Concord) - Started all 37 games with 17 hits
- Ally Knutson (Green Bay, WI/Bay Port) - Batted .422 in 37 games this season with a school record 21 doubles
- Taz Tamai (Cincinati, OH/The Seven Hills School) - Hit .315 in 36 starts
- Elinor Washington (Sacramento, CA/Pleasant Grove) - Totaled 23 hits and 16 RBI in 35 gamesÂ
