LOUISVILLE, KY - As announced by the National Fastpitch COaces Association, Smith College softball has been named an Easton/NFCA Academic Team, with 14 individual student-athletes earning Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
The Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete Awards recognize student-athletes who achieve a minimum 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale. In addition, the NFCA honors Academic Teams each fall, based on overall team GPA, highlighting programs that excel academically.
Smith's GPA of 3.692 ranks 20th in all of Division III.
