Smith College Athletics

Camille O’Bryant was an integral member and captain of the rowing team during her time as a student-athlete at Smith. While earning a master’s degree in exercise and sport studies, Camille taught performance classes and was an assistant coach of the Smith swimming and diving and synchronized swimming teams. She went on to become an instructor in Smith’s Department of Exercise and Sport Studies before earning a doctorate in sport, leisure and somatic studies from The Ohio State University School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation. Camille previously served on the Smith College Board of Trustees, is on the Alumnae Board of Trustees, and had a rowing shell named after her in 2022. She is currently the Associate Dean of Student Success and Welfare and Issues of Diversity and Inclusion at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
