Smith Athletics Hall of Fame
Phoebe Jacob Moore '93 had the unique opportunity to shine during Smith Basketball's centennial season. Not only did she end up as the leading scorer at the time, in terms of games played in a Smith uniform, with 1,441 career points, the team captain earned her third NEW 8 All-Conference nod and was a New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) All-Star Classic Selection. The three-time Seven Sisters All-Tournament team selection, and 1991 MVP, still holds the record with 564 career field goals made. She is in the top 10 in 11 other career categories to go along with seven top-10 single-season rankings. Phoebe was also a three-year member of the softball team, accounting for 28 hits, 20 runs, 13 RBI and 14 walks in 52 games played. Now a resident of Caro, Michigan, Phoebe practices law and coaches her daughter's teams.
