Smith College Athletics

Lauren Perry was an All-American setter for the Smith College Volleyball program from 2002 through 2005. In addition to her NEWVA and AVCA All-American recognition, Perry earned All-Region and All-Conference honors throughout her career. Perry and fellow Hall of Famer Kate Sorensen led the Pioneers to the program’s first NEWMAC Championship in 2005 and went on to compete in the NCAA Division III Volleyball Championship. In 2003 she was awarded the Peter Meltzer Award, given to the student-athlete who best exemplifies sportsmanship and being an outstanding teammate. Lauren still holds the program's career and single-season assists records.
